Thermography or thermal imaging is utilized for early detection of abnormal activity in the breast and/or body.  We offer this service quarterly in our office.  The screenings are done by Longevity Thermography’s certified clinical thermographer, Eniko Fodor.

What is thermography?

Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging (thermography) creates images that illustrate heat patterns in the body.  The thermal images are analyzed for abnormalities which may be signs of disease in the body.  Annual thermograms allow you to map changes in the body’s heat patterns over time and can alert you to any deviations from your norm.

Inflammation is a precursor to many diseases such as cancer, arthritis, heart disease, stroke, and diabetes.  Early detection of inflammation may help you prevent many negative health conditions from developing.  Measuring heat signals through thermal imaging is a proactive method for detecting signs of inflammation and increased blood flow that would signal the need for mammography for breast concerns and other forms of evaluation when other bodily regions show abnormal thermal patterns.
