
Keith Berndtson, MD
Medical Director
Dr. Berndtson is a graduate of Rush Medical College and is board certified in family medicine. He has practiced in greater Chicagoland for over 25 years and has clinical and administrative experience in both conventional and alternative medical settings. He serves as a clinical instructor for students at local medical and health professional schools. He co-authored The Immune Advantage and has been a consulting editor for several health publications including The Reader’s Digest Guide to Vitamins, Minerals, and Herbs.

Susan Allen, RD, CCN
Nutrition and Wellness Director
Ms. Allen is a nationally recognized nutritional consultant. She earned certification in Medical Dietetics as a Registered Dietitian (RD). She also holds the Certified Clinical Nutritionist credential (CCN), and is leading specialist in the growing field of Functional Nutrition. She is a consultant to the natural medicine industry, a health professional educator, and has held national leadership positions with the American Dietetics Association’s Nutrition in Complementary Care Group and the International Association of Clinical Nutritionists.

Jesse Karpen, DC
Chiropractic Director and Billing Manager
Dr. Karpen is a board-certified chiropractic physician and graduate of Cleveland Chiropractic College. His patient care philosophy emphasizes education and healthy lifestyle change. As a former college athlete, he knows the importance of self-care routines that support physical stamina, strength, flexibility, and agility. Jesse also oversees our Web-hosted billing service. Under his direction, Park Ridge MultiMed’s practice performance ranks in the top 5 percent of the over 1,400 medical groups nationally using the industry-leading athenahealth system.

Diane Williamson, CMT, CCME
Massage Therapy Director
Ms. Williamson is a graduate of the Chicago School of Massage Therapy. She is licensed in the State of Illinois, nationally certified, a member of the American Massage Therapy Association, and an instructor for the Massage CuppingTM bodywork technique. Additional techniques include neuromuscular therapy, myofascial release, structural integration, pregnancy massage, infant massage instruction, Himalayan Salt Stone therapy, Reiki, aromatherapy wraps, and other spa techniques. Diane can schedules home massage visits for most patients.

Front Desk Manager
Ms. Finnegan brings over a decade of experience in patient care and medical practice administration to our front desk. Her top priority is overseeing the patient experience, so our team can deliver on its promise to promote positive health care experiences, and positive health results, one person at a time. She believes there is an element of the sacred in what we do, and she is committed to ensuring that everyone who enters our space feels cared for, respected, and welcomed.
